ABOUT INDIA KNOX KELLY

Born in Paris and raised in diverse cultural environments, India Knox Kelly discovered her passion for art early. Her parents, both bilingual and deeply involved in the worlds of art and fashion, provided an environment ripe with creativity.

Her mother, an accomplished abstract painter, maintained a studio in every home they lived in, ensuring that India's artistic endeavors were not just nurtured, but celebrated. Under her mother’s influence and inspired by artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, India developed her own artistic style.

India's time at the Visual Arts and Design Academy of Santa Barbara High School was crucial for her growth as an artist. There, she was surrounded by creative minds, encouraging her to try new techniques and push herself.

 

Currently, India is completing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. The discipline of her academic studies contrasts with the freedom of her artistic work, and she often paints in the mornings when she's not in class and on weekends.​
